Satyajit Shergill in the 84th
year is a passionate, energetic,
lively artist who loves to spend
his time painting and sculpting
in his studio. While he looked
up to his Aunty Amrita Shergil
one of the greatest avant-garde
women artists and a “pioneer”
in modern Indian art as
inspiration he developed his
own style of abstract painting.

His paintings are characterized
by a sense of mystery that
invites the viewer in. He
specializes in distorting figure
painting to the level of
abstraction and blending
various styles to create
impressive canvases.
