Solo Exhibition of Paintings at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai from 16th-22nd February 2021.
A Solo Show of Paintings by Antra Srivastava titled ‘The Inner Element’ is to be held at Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai. The Exhibition will be inaugurated on 16th February 2021.The exhibition showcasing the immaculate artworks by Antra Srivastava has Conceptualized by herself only.
The artist Antra Srivastava did her graduation in English literature, and is a Self- taught Artist, Poet and a registered translator on Amazon.
She has been working professionally for more than two decades. An avid traveller, She has travelled extensively across the globe which brought her into the contact with wealth of outlook and introduced her to vast range of perceptions, ideas and knowledge. It profoundly affected her work and subsequently touched many lives. Being an army wife, social welfare has always been an integral part of her life. She has conducted various art workshops for the families and children of armed forces as well as in civil to sensitize people about the healing and uplifting power of art and also its economic prospects. Her work is largely based on inner reflections and rich imaginations. She loves to express herself through surrealism though her body of work reflects her inclination towards abstract figurative style too. She works with oil and acrylic mostly and rich colours are an integral part of her compositions.
Recently her works with an acclaimed Iraqi Poet is being Collaborated and Published in an Idiosyncratic book ‘Poetic Palette’ showcasing her paintings based on the poems of the poet, which received great response.
Antra’s Artworks displayed at various National and International platforms. She did Solo Show in Lalit Kala Mela, Delhi 2020; India Art Festival 2019, Delhi; Mumbai Art Fair 2018;NCZCC Gandhi Art Gallery; Allahabad,2015; Secundarabad Defence Institute 2010-12 (Thrice); Art Gallery, Kohima 2001; Lohitpur Assam Rifles Officers Institute,Arunachal Pradesh 1999; & group shows at India Habitat Centre,Delhi; Renaissance Art Gallery,2017; Art Monaco,French Rivera,France 2015; Art Shopping carrousel du Louvre,Paris 2017. She was sponsored by Eminent International Gallerist Mona Youssef in both International shows.
Her Artworks are in Collections of several VIP Army Messes, Royal Itarana Palace (Alwar) Variuos senior army/govt./corp./business owners private collections in India and Abroad.
